Here are some books and series that fans of Fifty Shades are sure to love. This installment picks up a couple of months after Slow Surrender left off with Karina moving to London not only to start a new job in a museum but also in search of James, who left her after Karina forced him to reveal his name. I am so disappointed. In the first book, the two main characters had decent banter and the mystery of James drew me in.
There wasn't really a plot but at least there was James. However entering into the second book everything changed for me. The lack of story became even more apparent when James doesn't appear until the end of the book. I waited the whole book to see and feel the "Chemistry" they had For me this one was good but not great. It didn't pull me in the way I hoped it would.
It just felt drawn out. We get to meet Damon but he just wasn't James. The last few chapters were my favorite only because James appears finally, but at the end there were more questions about him then there were answers. Slow Seduction did have a few twists and turns and with a very unexpected cliffhanger ending. I will continue with the series regardless of my frustration.
