They said these are the first of many to come, it's not negatively effecting the other contestants at all. Just because these ones are the first to be released officially on both consoles doesn't mean that the devs are telling you to vote for them. It's entirely up to you to decide which one you want to win. It'll be nice seeing mods on the Xbox One but that'll be a pain for the devs good luck. Now will a new map mean my world is reset ir is it a whole new world that doesn't effect current. I would really like to have a legit and just fool around.
At first I thought that was odd, but PAX is going on and I imagine that announcing that mods and custom maps are coming to xbox is likely more important than the results of the contest being skewed in favor of someone who has been ahead in the voting since near the beginning anyway. Hype as all let out. Definitely very excited for The Center. I've been dying to get it on Xbox One! Quick question Will these mods and center map be available for Xbox single-player?
Annunaki mod and badass mod comes too to the program? Does this mean we can get any mod we want like pimp my dino or dragon mod? These mods being selected for the Xbox have no bearing on the mod contest. Will mods be coming to ps4 eventually?

Mod's as we know them on PC games don't really exist on consoles. The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
